At
HS Photo we are still able to handle print orders that
come in with your negatives. However, we are no longer
processing exposed film. After having your film
processed, you can still send the negatives to us and
receive the superior quality you have come to expect
from HS Photo.

Film/Print Scanning and Archiving Pricing
We
can print from most sizes and types of film including
35mm, 120, 220, 4x5 sheet film, color negative, black
and white negative, and we can even make prints from
slides. Your orders will need to
either be in a long roll (uncut) format, or they will
need to be carded individually per negative (crop cards
available through customer care). The process for
printing includes scanning your images at a very high
resolution, making any adjustments needed, and then we
can print using our digital output workflow. The paper
that your images are printed on is still going through a
photographic process that involves chemistry for
development, and we are using Kodak Professional Endura
paper.
We
can also provide you with a low resolution disk of all
your images for reorders that you may need. This
low res disk can be used within our
HS
ProDigital Software which will allow you to have all the benefits
that digital customers take advantage of; full control
over cropping, designing your own composite prints and
album pages, even building complex package orders with
specialty products like coffee mugs and mouse pads! If
you are going to make adjustments to the images that
we scan, then you would want to order a high res CD of
the
images that we scan from your film.
With
recent advancements in technology, we are now able to provide scanning at lower
rates that ever before. This means that there is no
better time to get high quality, high resolution scans
for all of your prints, negatives, and slides. The
service is great for people looking to archive and
preserve those cherished memories captured on film and
old prints that have been inherited through the years.
Over time your prints, slides and negatives will
begin to deteriorate so the sooner you digitize them
the better!
